It’s November 2022, and Branden Williams is giving a tour of a James Bond-inspired mansion in the Hollywood Hills. Dashing around the under-construction house like he has been shot out of a cannon, the real-estate broker-turned developer speaks at a rapid clip in his gravelly voice, rarely letting others get a word in.
“We’re very much influenced by watching Kubrick movies, Scorsese movies and all the old vintage Bond films,” he says of the retro-style, roughly 12,500-square-foot home, which he is building with his wife and business partner, Rayni Williams. “That is why I still wear bell bottoms. How many men do you know who are still wearing bell bottoms?”
