Highlighting this round of real estate transactions is the $1.3 million sale of three separate tracts of timberland totaling 210 acres: 100 acres sits on Highway 84 in extreme north Clark County; 60 acres is east of Open Banks Road, south of Arkadelphia; and 50 acres sits east of the Caddo River near the DeGray community. Caddo Land Corp., registered to Scott and Donald Tatman, sold the properties to Mitchell Stewart Griffin Developments LLC, which is registered to Jake Plyler and Andrew Griffin.

Clay and Leah Sexton bought a 3,933-SF frame siding home on Magnolia Drive, Arkadelphia, for $410,000. Previous owners Shawn and Jessica Jones paid $299,000 when they bought the place in 2013.

For $355,111 Horizon Capital Partners LLLP bought 160 acres of timber situated north of Taylor Dairy Road/Salt Road, northeast of Gurdon. Previous owner was Barbara Rhodes. Horizon Capital Partners belongs to Arkadelphia businessman Ross Whipple.

Erika Gonyea sold her 3,464-SF brick-and-frame home and two lots on Charlotte Drive, Gurdon, to Jonathan and Julia Barlow Revocable Trust for $290,000. Gonyea bought the property in 2022 for $234,000.

Wendell and Carol Ketchum purchased a 1,705-SF brick home and 15.4 acres of pasture at the 200 block of Unity Road for $288,801. Previous owner was W L Waite Revocable Trust/Billy Jack Waite.

For $245,000 Justin and Andrea Allison bought a 2,153-SF brick home and 2.76 acres on Loy Road. Previous owners were Ann and Jimmy Bragg.

Jonathan and Christine Smith sold their 1,958-SF brick home on Lynwood Drive, Arkadelphia, to Dennis and Paola Medina for $220,000. The Smiths bought the place in 2008 for $157,000.

By way of mortgagees deed and for $200,000 Bobby and Beatrice Skaggs yielded their 1,652-SF brick home and 27.12 acres on Nantz Trail, Shiloh community, to Mike Callaway. The Skaggses bought the place in 2006 for $155,000.

Sherry Philbeck and James Sullivan III bought a 1,596-SF frame siding home and 1.5 acres on Frost Road, Caddo Valley, for $198,000. Previous owner was the Wooster-based Newco Land Development LLC, registered to James Gray and Melvin Gonzalez.

A 3.24-acre strip of land west of and along Highway 67, between Old Military Road and the Caddo River, sold to the Arkansas State Highway Commission for $161,600. Previous owners were the Caddo River Ranch Family Limited Partnership, among whose partners are Peggy Clark, Carolyn Tennyson and Elizabeth Bozik. The land sale is for an Arkansas Department of Transportation job to replace the existing bridge over the Caddo River.

Anthony Gleaves bought a 2,128-SF mobile home at the 500 block of South 10th Street, Arkadelphia, for $127,500. Previous owner Sharon Hudson bought the place in 2002 for $15,000.

Katye Halliday and Brett Currey, et al, sold a 3,472-SF frame siding home and 1.23 acres at the 200 block of Curtis Road to Christopher and Charlotte Hunter, of Mesquite, Texas.

For $125,000 Rheanna Anderson bought a 1,468-SF brick home and two adjacent lots at the 900 block of East Crayton Street, Gurdon. Previous owners Kimberly and Mike McKenzie bought the place in 2022 for $15,000.

Wrapping up these real estate transactions is the $100,000 sale of a 1,442-SF brick home and 4.2 acres at the 900 block of Cedar Grove Road. Tammie and Kenny Duncan sold the property to Greyson Huneycutt.
