Large Prosper landowner buys 71 more acres

[ad_1]

An investor group led by Vijay Borra of DFW Land has once again snapped up a potential development site in Collin County.

The investor group purchased 71 acres assembled from multiple owners located at the southwest corner of the Dallas North Tollway and Mahard Parkway and an intersection north of Highway 380.

The site is located north of Frisco’s forthcoming Firefly Park development that features a Dream Hotel and west of Blue Star Land’s Gates of Prosper multi-phased, mixed-use project.

Davidson Bogel Real Estate’s David Davidson Jr. and Edward Bogel brokered the transaction. The pair will continue to market the property for Borra moving forward.

DFW Land has gobbled up land in Prosper in recent years.

In October, Borra led a partnership to acquire a 50-acre tract just north of U.S. 380 on the east side of the tollway extension. A few months earlier in August, the firm purchased a 110-acre site on Mahard Parkway near Children’s Health’s new medical campus and north of the new PGA of America headquarters. July 2021 saw a buy for 190 acres near the Windsong Ranch community.

Other purchases north of Dallas include former ranch properties near Gunter and in Celina.
