A sprawling property in Anderson County featuring a four-bedroom home on 109 acres sold recently for $1.525 million.
Known as Broad Mouth Creek Farm, the property at 349 Brooks Road near the town of Honea Path includes established roads and fields along with a stocked pond, according to the listing. The 2,500-square-foot home, built in 2014, includes custom cabinetry and updated kitchen appliances, as well as a finished basement, a rear deck and a wood-burning fireplace.
The property also features a dock that extends out into the pond, as well as a seating area surrounding a rock fire pit. John Armstrong of Wilson Associates Real Estate was the listing agent on the property, while Kathryn Curtis of the same agency represented the buyer.
Miller named branch leader at Tate
Brian Miller has been appointed as the new branch leader over Allen Tate Realtors offices in the mountain lakes region of the South Carolina Upstate, the company announced recently.
Miller will lead Allen Tate offices including Lake Keowee West, Lake Keowee Seneca and Lake Keowee North, and also provide support to the Seneca office on Rochester Highway. He will be based in the Allen Tate Lake Keowee West office at 402 Cane Creek Landing Road in Seneca, where he will oversee branch operations and a team of more than 40 agents and staff.

An accomplished professional, Miller has 10 years of experience in residential real estate and rural land development and has held positions including broker/owner, broker in charge, and Realtor. He holds real estate licenses in South Carolina and Indiana. Prior to his real estate career, Miller worked as an employee benefits advisor and as executive director for several environmental management agencies.
