Homes are being resold in Calgary, Canada, at a blazing pace. House flipping has surged to the highest level of any major metropolitan area in the country, according to data from the Bank of Canada. Statistics show 6.5% of homes sold in the Calgary metropolitan area were resold within 12 months. Rents Down in Los Angeles Compared to a Year Ago
The average rent has dropped in Los Angeles County by 3.9% compared to a year ago, according to a report by ApartmentList.com. Despite this decline, renters in L.A. County say the decrease is not enough. The median rental price for a one-bedroom apartment stands at $1,844.
