This Medieval-Style Home In Oregon Looks Like A Little Mediterranean Castle | Digg

[ad_1]

It’s no secret that we love castle homes here at Digg, and this rustic, understated one in Eugene, Oregon, might be one of our favorites.

Built in 1999, tucked away amongst woodland and listed for just under a million dollars, the 4,141-square-foot house is a secluded little gem.

The medieval style you see outside continues indoors, where high ceilings and rustic design make the place feel like a tiny old castle in some Mediterranean town. Look at all those lovely curves and arched doorways.

When it comes to the interior design of the house, what might seem basic to some will be quaint and charming to others — that bathroom, for example, is pretty dreamy, in my opinion.

The place might not be quite fit for a king, but it’s a one-of-a-kind home that’d make you feel at least distantly related to some ancient, European monarch — if that’s what you happen to be looking for.
